St. Paul
Truth-in-Sale of Housing
As of February 1, 2002 the new Guidelines for Evaluators take effect.
The revisions in the guidelines bring more uniformity to Cities with pre-sale evaluations.
St. Paul revised and has included additional components to be evaluated on the Evaluators reports.
Items that are now going to be rated as Hazardous are outlets that are not GFCI protected in the bathrooms.
Hot water boilers that lack backflow prevention on the water supply will be rated as hazardous.
Water faucets that are below the rim of bathtubs and sinks will be rated as hazardous.
Exterior water supply faucets that lack backflow preventers are rated as a Below Minimum item.
